yesterday chris and i took my cousins daughter abbi to the zoo, the weather turned out really nice, and we had a fun time.
after the zoo chris and i met up with jake "body" kenney, his brother jeff, and andrew "cookie" koch to go to the royals game. Jake had free tickets which were in a really good spot. we met rodney and becki up there too. It was the free t-shirt giveaway of Mustard, Relish, and Ketchup for the hot dog derby
ketchup won of course!
chris and i were on the kiss cam and we all were on the jumbotron a few other times. and then the royals even won!

March has been way more busy then february. I think i finally adjusted to working nights and i'm not afraid to go out and have fun.
last week i had to work on chris's birthday so i came to warrensburg the night before to celebrate, and i only got to see him for about 12 hours, and about 8 of those we were asleep. I think he had a good birthday, betty and laura threw a party for him, and he got three cakes this year.
Thursday Becki, Leah, Landon, and I went to Finding Nemo on Ice because i won free tickets for it from the radio station. I had never been to an Ice show and I was pretty impressed, not knowing what to expect. Plus the best part was i got to eat nachos!
Friday my parents left for the weekend, and i got up early and got some things done. I started working out at a new place because it is pretty cheap and has no commitment, plus i like the atmosphere there. They've played some pretty good music too, like ELO, taking back sunday, jimmy eat world, alkaline trio, and ultimate fakebook. so i went and worked out and went shopping.
Friday evening becki came to olathe and we drove to lawrence. We ate at pizza shuttle and then met rodney at the bottleneck to watch Matt Pryor play. (Rodney moved to arlington, Virginia in november, and this was the first time we had seen him since before he left.) I thought it was cool that Matt played the kill creek cover "all ears" that we heard scott born play a couple of weeks ago. When Scott played it he thought he did such a horrible job, because he was really drunk and hadn't played in a few years, he said "i should have played the Matt Pryor version." haha. Matt also played some new amsterdams songs and some terrible twos songs for the kids that were there. After the bottleneck we rode over to jimmy johns so rodney could get a sandwich and then went to the granada to see Reggie and the full effect. and besides the sound sucking and a girl being annoying in front of me, it was a good show. Rodney, his brother broc, broc's girlfriend charity, matt, betty, and Justin Bay were all the people i saw and knew there. Becki went to see rocky votolato at the jackpot before Reggie was finished, and then we went home.
Saturday, we drove back to lawrence to have lunch with rodney at free state brewery, about 13 of his friends were there. After we ate we went bowling, i didn't have any socks so i went to the dollar store and bought some cute ones there. Only Broc, charity, rodney, becki and i bowled. Rodney's old roommates Courtney and david? came and watched. I bowled reallly well the first game with a score of 195, but then i got tired and only got a 112 the second game. I had a lot of fun, and i had some nachos again!
After bowling Rodney, becki, and i went back to rodney's grandma house and watched mythbusters and ate m&m's. Then we found out matt had been in town all this time drinking by hisself at the bottleneck so we met him at pizza hut to eat some breadsticks. Our waiter was really rude to us, he said things like "this is pizza hut, not stick hut, if we were made of sticks we would blow away, haven't you heard of the big bad wolf?" He was so strange, and just kept being unreasonably rude to us.
Next we went to the bottleneck where i realized i had left my I.D. in my other purse, so i had to get big fat X's on my hands but the door guy was kind enough to not make me pay the extra two dollars the minors have to pay. We got a booth by the window and listened to black christmas play, i liked them a lot and wish i could find some of their music to listen to now, but i have been unsuccessful. Becki, Rodney, matt, and I were joined by Corey and we played the card game B.S. which was fun, especially when matt would say "i dont have any sixes." i guess we didn't explain the game well enough for him, but atleast we weren't playing harry potter uno. after black christmas played, white whale played, which i guess is rob pope from the get up kids new band, but i didn't like them very much. appleseed cast was up next and they were beautiful as always. I sat up in the bleachers and listened to them. Nate jr. commented on how much he loves his fiance and how they were getting married the next day. matt and rodney at the bneck

Sunday i missed the jackie carol show at the jackpot because i had to work days this week and had to be up early monday morning. but after work on monday i went to the record bar for Rodney's last get together before he went back to virginia. this time it was a pizza party. I shared a pizza with becki and it was quite good. People who showed up include: randy, matt, jenn, tara, john bersuch, amber and nick and the other guy from rodney's old band, john ferguson, tracy, pj and ben, and marisa. They let us show the video we made for rodney and although we couldn't hear it very well, i think everyone enjoyed it. takes a long time to load but its worth it, although you might not get the full meaning if you aren't rodney.
now i'm in warrensburg again, i'm excited to go to karaoke night. i haven't been since my birthday but it seems like a lot of people have found out about it and so a lot more people go now. i hope it is fun.
